Creating and deploying Email Campaigns is streamlined within the Engage dashboard. Users have the option to build a new campaign from a blank canvas.
- Create: Build your campaign creative directly in the dashboard and configure your campaign settings.
- Segment: Select the audience for your campaign from your existing list of segments.
- Schedule: Send the campaign immediately or select a future date/time.
How It Works
-
Adjust the settings for a Campaign, including:
- Campaign name - Internal only, not visible to recipients
- Sender - the ‘from’ email address
- Subject Line - What the recipient sees in the subject line of their email client
-
Select a Segment or Contact List to send the campaign to.
- Suppresses any users in the Segment who are not opted in to email marketing
- 'Dedupe' - If targeting more than one Segment, the system prevents sending a user in both segments 2 campaigns
- Send a test email to any recipient, not just a logged in user
-
Schedule the campaign to send on a certain day at a certain time
- Depending on the user's role and permissions, they may see a Submit for Approval button instead (learn more here).
- Users can also go back and view Sent email campaigns, which includes an HTML snapshot of the creative used in a sent campaign
