The AI Creative Assistant is designed to supercharge your creativity. Powered by Open AI and built directly into our Email Design Editor, it uses generative AI to turn content ideas into compelling copy.

The AI Creative Assistant can help reduce the amount of time it takes to go from idea to execution using starter AI prompts to quickly generate engaging copy. You can then easily refine suggested copy in the conversational interface to tweak the tone, length, and styling to match your brand voice.

Getting Started

The Email Design Editor can be accessed from three locations inside the Engage Dashboard.

Campaigns

For one-off campaigns, navigate to: Marketing > Campaigns > Create Campaign > Design Editor

Automation Templates

To create a template for future automations, navigate to: Marketing > Automation Templates > Create Template > Design Editor

Another way to create a template for future automations is to go to: Settings > Design Library > Starter Templates > Design Editor

How to Use AI Creative Assistant

The AI Creative Assistant can be accessed from four of the content modules in the Email Design Editor: 

  • Title
  • Paragraph
  • List
  • Button

When you click a relevant content module in the build preview, you’ll see a ‘Write with AI’ button at the top of the Content Properties screen. Click the button to open the AI Creative Assistant user interface.

Starter Prompts

Below are suggested 'starter prompts' to use when interacting with the AI Creative Assistant in the Title, Paragraph, List, and Button content modules.

Title Module

Goal: Generate an email headline that drives guests to read more.

Example Prompts:

  • Write a short title for a new [menu item] being added to our restaurant's menu
  • Create a title promoting [exclusive offer/discount] with a compelling CTA to [Take Action Now/Claim Yours Today]
  • Formulate a title that highlights the [exclusive offer/discount] that expires [soon/expiration date]
  • Write a title for a [restaurant/brand event] on [date] with a compelling CTA

Paragraph Module

Goal: Generate body copy explaining the campaign essence.

Example Prompts:

  • Write a brief paragraph about the launch of our new [menu item]

  • Create body copy for a promotional email about [subject line or title]

  • Develop a short email to re-engage lapsed guests to our [concept type] encouraging them to come back

  • Compose a message to engage loyal restaurant guests and get them excited about [promotion or loyalty program offering]

List Module

Goal: Generate bullet points that reinforces the value of the campaign.

Example Prompts:

  • Explain why our [menu item] is better than others

  • Showcase the value and benefits of joining a [concept type] loyalty program

  • List reasons to subscribe to our [concept type] email newsletter

Button Module

Goal: Generate a call to action that inspires guests to engage.

Example Prompts:

  • Generate compelling CTA options for ordering our [menu item]

  • Generate a CTA suggestion for lapsed guest emails for our restaurant

  • Create a CTA for cross selling [item] with [item]

  • Create a CTA for [target audience] to join our [concept] loyalty program
