Like any computer, your iPad keeps some memory space reserved to store the information you've recently used, like internet cookies and images. This space is called a cache. Ideally, the cache speeds up your iPad by giving the device fast access to certain data if you need it again.
When you make changes to any of your settings in the Web Dashboard, due to the way your iPad uses the cache, you must clear the cache in order to see the changes reflected in the Host app.
To reset your device's cache:
- Double-tap the home button.
- Quit the Olo Host App by swiping it up and off the screen. You must close the app for these steps to work.
- Open the iPad's Settings App (grey icon with gear on it), and scroll down to "Wisely Host".
- Toggle the "Reset Cache on Next Launch" button to green.
- Reopen the Host app.
If resetting the cache doesn't resolve the issue you're having:
- Please submit a support ticket with your Host app version and the iOS version you're running.
Note: We Support the last two versions of iPad's iOS
