The Olo Engage integration with NCR Payments enables brands to ingest their payments data into Engage and match it to Orders and Guests in GDP. This empowers brands to see a more complete view of their guests, inclusive of on- and off-premise interactions.
NCR Payments is one of several payment processors integrated with Engage. To see if your payment processor is supported within Engage, please reach out to your Olo sales or customer success representative.

The below table reflects the capabilities of the Engage <> NCR Payments integration. The actual data passed may vary on a brand-by-brand basis.

Activating the Integration
An Olo Implementation Specialist will guide you throughout the setup process. At a high-level, the process will contain the below steps:

Contact NCR Payments to initiate the integration, which may require an SOW from NCR to be paid by the customer

NCR sets up a daily file drop to a shared SFTP with Olo
- Olo configures the integration and performs data validation
- Integration is turned on in Production
Example Use Cases
There are many ways you can leverage NCR Payments data within the Olo Engage ecosystem. Listed below are a few common use cases to consider.
Use Case: View a Specific Guest’s Predictive GLV and Churn Risk
Part of Engage’s Smart Properties, these two metrics can be found on the Analytics tab of the Guest Profile.
Use Case: Create a Segment using Smart Properties
Smart Properties, which are in part powered by a payment processor integration, can be used to create Segments for analysis and marketing.
- Example Segment: RFM Equals 111 (this would target your top guests by Recency, Frequency, and Monetary Spend)
Use Case: Set up an Automation based on Smart Properties
Automate the sending of an email, text message, or mobile push notification based on Smart Properties such as Historical Spend Annualized, Total Card Swipes, and Total Card Spend.
- Example Automation: Trigger When a guest has Visited | Pre-Entry Filter CRM by Total Card Spend Greater 500
