Olo Sentiment helps brands develop a culture of guest-centricity by driving accountability across stakeholders. One feature that helps unlock this is Review Notifications, which make it simple to be made aware of and prioritize important guest feedback.
Using Review Notifications, brands can reduce their review response time with automated emails based on keywords or review ratings to platform users and non-users.
To see a list of existing review notifications or to create a new one, navigate to Reviews > Inbox and click the Email button.
Creating an Email Subscription
Start by clicking the Create New Subscription button.
There are five sections of the Create Email Subscription interface that allow users to define the notification criteria.
Access: Select the Account, Group, or Location the subscription is applicable to.
Notification Frequency: Determines whether the notification triggers Immediately, Daily, or Weekly. If daily, a specific time can be specified. If weekly, both the day of the week and the time can be specified.
Select Notifications: Depending on the Account configuration, different notification types may be available.
- My Events: Notifications for internal comments mentioning the user or for reviews assigned to them.
- Errors and Warnings: Notifications for network-specific issues.
- Reviews: Notifications for specific ratings (e.g. 1-star) or all networks or a subset of networks.
- Review Responses: Notifications for review responses for reviews with specific Sentiment (eg. Positive, Negative, or Neutral) or by response approval status (e.g. approved responses, responses pending approval, etc.).
Email Subject and Recipients: These fields are available for Reviews Notifications only.
- Email Subject Line: Define a custom subject line for the email send.
- Add Recipients: Subscribe other users to the notification.
Filters: This field is available for Reviews Notifications only.
- Keywords: Only the reviews that include the inputted keywords will be included in the notification.
Once finished, click Create and the applicable users will begin receiving emails based on the defined criteria.
Please note that subscriptions are specific to each user. This means that only the individual who created a subscription can see or make changes to it.
