Omnivore
Omnivore, now part of the Olo family, allows the Host app to integrate with your POS system. It provides a universal Point of Sale (POS) connection for restaurant app development. This universal API provides singular access to the fragmented POS market which allows Wisely to connect to multiple POS system brands.
Note: Some POS systems and specific versions require a 30-60 minute installation meeting with Omnivore. This meeting will be curated by your Wisely Implementation Specialist and scheduled at your convenience.

Whitelisting Firewall Information
Olo Engage leverages the Omnivore platform for the available POS integrations. Engage also has it's own URLs being leveraged by the Host iPad app and web application, click here for more information. By modifying your firewall to account for these IPs, ports, and URLs, you will ensure Wisely and the POS integration (if applicable), will operate as expected within your network.

Host Integration Features and Options
With the POS integration for Host, you can track your guest’s journey from joining the waitlist, through meal stages, and ultimately capture their contact information and order data.
- Table Status Updates: Match menu items to meal stages and watch table statuses automatically change when servers ring in items
- Host Scouting: Help your host team track turn times through visual cues and time counters
- Meal Data Capture: Tie order information to guest contact information to enhance your marketing efforts

- Grant Engage access to POS data via Omnivore
- Map Menu Categories to Meal Stage (i.e. Beverages maps to Appetizers)
